I recently bought this book off Amazon and have just been sifting through it so far but I can already say I’d highly recommend it. It’s brought up many more questions I really need to ask myself to be mentally prepared for this job:
What would I do if someone told me my dancing was shit?
What would I do if someone told me I was ugly?
What would I do with any other kind of verbal abuse or criticism? From customers and from other strippers?
And many more…
As I know now, especially after my first night, I NEED to have fully prepared responses to these or I could be caught off guard and potentially get hurt emotionally or even mentally. I realise now that you can’t be prepared enough for something like stripping.
